​The Kumho Tyre V8 Touring Car Series was established in 2008. Initially it was designed to provide a competition for cars no longer able to compete in the Super2series(Development Series) – but since then it has become so much more than that. Not only has the category become a happy home for many ex-Supercars, but it’s also attracted a range of historically significant race cars that fans identify with from their various successes in the hands of some of the sport’s great drivers and teams.
