This event is also highly recognized in Europe, the home of motor sports, and with the Malaysia's Sepang race joining
as the regular season in 2003, with the all-star event being held in 2005 again from 2004 and with the renaming from
JGTC (All-Japan Grand Touring Car Championship) to Super GT, the event is truly on its path to globalization.
The race is composed of GT300 (300 horse power) and GT500 (500 horse power) class.
