Kumho Asiana Group (SamKoo Park, Chairman) introduced the new and innovative CI on greeting group¡¯s 60
anniversary this year, as proclaiming to make ¡®the beautiful enterprises flying to the beautiful future with
the customers¡¯ during next 60 years.

A personnel of Kumho Asiana Group explained the meaning of this new CI is ¡°as visualizing the will to make
the beautiful enterprises flying to the beautiful future with the customers, representing merging and
unification of ¡®Kumho¡¯ and ¡®Asiana¡¯¡±.

The color of the symbol is red, which Kumho Asiana Group has uniquely used, for the red color with the strong
visibility and the awareness is suitable to represent the powerful corporate image. Also in addition, by
continuously keeping the group¡¯s assets established for a long time, it means, to customers, continuously
keeping the already familiar image, and to management and employees, inspiring confidence and vitality.

Kumho Tires Co., Inc has also renovated in 2006 to keep up with the sense of the times and the customers¡¯ needs,
and is ready for the second leap. In the will of endless growth, the company has renovated the CI,
and announced to make the beautiful enterprises flying to ¡®the beautiful future¡¯.
The company will be reborn as the Kumho Tires, the sound and trusted corporate keeping promises with the

The chairman of Kumho Asiana Group proclaimed the group¡¯s slogan as ¡®the beautiful enterprises¡±,
as defining the beautiful enterprises ¡°the enterprises, not blamed, surely keeping promises and being sound

responsibilities and the corporate role¡±, and emphasized that all the companies in the group will be

Kumho Asiana Group, by the end of 2005, has 22 affiliate companies such as Asiana Airlins Inc., Kumho Tires
Co. Inc., Kumho Industries and Kumho Petrochemical Inc., and according to corporate groups¡¯ capital status
announced by the Fair Trade Commission in April last year, the capital is about 11.4 trillion won and in 10th
position in the order of the capital size (excluding the public enterprises and the private enterprises
transformed from the public enterprises). In 2006, the group plans to accomplish the revenue of over
11 trillion won (excluding banking and financing companies) and the ordinary profit of 800 billion won.
